Angry Smurf is Smurf number 20007. He is also known as Furious Smurf & Black Smurf. He is based on the Smurf from the story called “The Black Smurfs”. In the story, a Smurf gets bitten by a black fly and then turns black and dances around saying “Gnap, gnap”. Of course, Papa Smurf comes to save the day. The version below is Black Angry Smurf with his arms straight out. Angry Smurf first made an appearance in 1966 and was made each year from then through to 1987. In 2014 Schleich re-released Black Angry Smurf with his arms straight out.
One of the variations of Angry Smurf has the Smurf with red eyes and black teeth. This is the main variation of Angry Smurf, the other two variations being handy additions fot the keen collector.
The third variation of Angry Smurf has the Smurf with red eyes and red teeth. Angry Smurfs are a harder to find smurf and, until recently, the straight arm version was the hardest to find.
