What do you think of the 2019 smurfs?
This week I came across a picture of the 2019 Schleich smurfs on the Peyo’s Smurfs Facebook page and also the Blue Cavern Facebook page. At this point of time I don’t know much else about them. No official date has been announced but most likely in early 2019.
At first I thought that they were a combination of previous smurfs released by Schleich and miniature Plastoy smurfs. Perhaps the two companies have gone into partnership with producing smurfs?

I don’t understand. Is this all that Scheich will produce for 2019? Four of them are repeats. I was also hoping for more girl smurfs from the Lost Village. Darn.
Hi Jenna, It is not unusual for Schleich to only produce eight new smurfs for a year. Typically they will continue to sell the previous year’s smurfs as well, like they did this year.
I was however quite surprised with the new ones as four of them appear to be repeats and the others look like miniature Plastoy figurines. But I know I will still buy them as I can’t help yourself when comes to buying smurfs especially new ones.

The smurf world is so big but Schleich’s imagination flied away years ago.
They could produce sets of the smurf’s adventures with the main characters of each comic.
I think about The smurfs and the egg (a lot of characters, the frankfurt or the dragon smurfs will rock)…
5 or 6 smurfs and one or two mini sets or boxed stuff…
Also make bigger characters molds like Gargamel, Johan…
Perhaps the last movie smurfs were the most originals but these last years Schleich is worse than ever.

I have 404 smurf figure and some play set, house, farm…etc.
The world of the smurfs is full of characters (characters present in the peyo stories).
For example I had written to schleich “why they never made the first smurfette? (the bad one created by peyo)”, key cartoon character.
We should all write to schleich.

Would love to see some new variations. So many things they can do rather than repeating older versions!!!!!!
